While attaining a PGDip in architecture, Rob chose to practise as a house designer/draughtsman and enjoys helping people to create practical and useable spaces in their home at an affordable rate.

As well as bespoke house designs, Rob Boardman has created, and achieved, planning permission for extensions, annexes, loft conversions, building conversions and renovations. Rob has drawn up designs for barns, former pubs and churches, outbuildings, stables and garages. Rob Boardman is passionate about buildings fitting into the landscape and so it is a particular joy to be able to work in Cornwall. As well as house design, I enjoy garden design work. I was on the accredited Cornwall Council list of approved house designers, but have this year decided to resign from the list as Cornwall Council have now made this a chargeable service – and I thought it was unfair to pass this charge onto my clients.
